Chandra Jain is a textile revivalist, cultural advocate, and the visionary founder of Kadambari, a Bangalore-based non-profit promoting arts, crafts, and heritage-based education since 1987,, she has worked at the intersection of creativity, sustainability, and cultural preservation, designing workshops, festivals, and exhibitions that bring together artists, artisans, and learners of all ages.
A life member and executive committee member of the Crafts Council of Karnataka Chandra has led major initiatives to revive endangered traditions. Her work in Banaras to restore brocade weaving and natural dyeing has been widely acknowledged, as has her long-term engagement with stone sculptors in Shivarapatna and rehabilitation efforts for artisans in post-earthquake Gujarat.
Chandra has curated and collaborated on landmark events including Namma Jaatre, Kutch Mahotsava, and children’s theatre productions like Gumma Bunda GummaShe introduced Grips Theatre for Children to Bangalore and remains a champion of integrating arts into education.
Trained in classical music, dance, and the visual arts, Chandra brings both artistic sensibility and deep cultural knowledge to everything she does. Her work continues to inspire intergenerational learning, creative inquiry, and the safeguarding of India’s diverse cultural legacy.

Anal Jain is a technology and business leader with over 25 years of experience across global and Indian IT firms, and a dedicated cultural advocate. He has held key leadership positions including Vice President at Wipro, President–South Asia at Sun Microsystems, founding CEO of Birlasoft Ltd., and business head roles at IBM India. His career reflects deep expertise in marketing, strategy, and organizational growth.
Alongside his corporate leadership, Anal has served as theHonorary Treasurer of Kadambari for over two decades. In this role, he brings strong financial oversight and strategic insight to support Kadambari’s mission of preserving and promoting India’s performing and fine arts, and empowering artisan communities.
He is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), and has advised leading industry and development forums including NASSCOM, Sa-dhan (Microfinance Apex Association), and the Emerge Forum. Anal also served on the board of Inflow Technologies and the social enterprise Sasha in Eastern India.

Madhulika is a post grad in international business from The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. She has worked in International Trade and Executive Search in her 30+ years of working tenure. She started her career with the Tata Group in Mumbai.
Madhulika is an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi.
She has lived in many cities of India imbibing the rich culture and heritage from the diverse regions of India.

C. N. Kumar is a Bengaluru-based consultant known for helping multinational companies establish operations in India. With a master’s in personnel management from TISS Mumbai, he played a pivotal role in setting up Sun Microsystems’India Engineering Center.
Earlier, as HR Director at Texas Instruments, he helped pioneer the entry of tech firms into Bangalore. Through his firm Advantage Knowledge Services,he has supported over 200 MNCs , including GE and Apple.
Kumar is valued for his expertise in infrastructure, regulatory setup, and talent acquisition. He has also taught at IIM Bangalore, sharing his knowledge in HR and corporate strategy.

Aparna Narasimhan, Partner and Design Director at Venkataramanan Associates, is an architect with over 30 years of experience. She leads the firm’s design process and is known for integrating context, feasibility, and detailing in large-scale residential and institutional projects. A passionate artist, she promotes Indian art through Kadambari, curating exhibitions and workshops.
Aparna emphasizes hand-drawing and often revisits her projects to study their human impact. Her award-winning work includes institutional and residential buildings. She also designs theatre sets and engages with students through talks. Her accolades include the AYA 2012 and multiple JK Cement and A+D Spectrum Architecture awards.

Anjali Gupta is a seasoned marketing leader with over 27 years of experience across global technology brands. She is the Founder of The Fractional CMO Company, advising growth-stage businesses on strategic marketing. Formerly, having worked with brands like IBM, Sify, Kyndryl & Infosys, she led high-impact performance marketing across India, APAC and ASEAN, managing multi-million-dollar pipelines.
Anjali blends storytelling with data-driven execution, builds strategic ecosystems, and champions diversity as a DEI Council lead. Known for mentoring talent and shaping scalable marketing functions, she brings a unique mix of brand insight, innovation, and cross-cultural leadership.

Mrinal Jain has been associated with Kadambari since its inception in 1987, participating in early workshops and activities that nurtured his deep interest in arts, culture, and design. An engineer and technologist by training, he has spent several years designing IT infrastructure and driving innovation at companies like Sun Microsystems, Yahoo!, IBM, and various startups. He also mentors and invests in the startup ecosystem.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mrinal is a passionate photographer and plays an active role in promoting aeromodelling in Bangalore. An alumnus of The Valley School and Rishi Valley School, his educational journey blends formal degrees with the non-formal learning he received through Kadambari.
He holds a BS from The Ohio State University, an MS from Purdue University, and an MBA from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago. As Joint Secretary of Kadambari, he is closely involved in the conceptualization, planning, and execution of the organization’s initiatives.
